I had the privilege to attend the 11th EALBF – European AOG LOAN BORROW FORUM, for the first time which was held in the beautiful city of Barcelona.
I have attended many shows and conferences through out the years but The EALBF stands out, where you get to meet great people with great minds who are all working towards the same goal, to keep their aircraft flying. Having the opurtunity to sit down amongst people who are facing the same issues and problems that I am and to have an open discussion about solutions with professionals from more than 43 airlines and several suppliers is close to nothing I have experienced.
The one to one meetings was humbling, and to get to expand your contact list like this is priceless.
The lessons I take away with me from this will be very helpful to run the Materials and Logistics department at PLAY.
I am already looking forward to attending the 12th EALBF in Warsaw next year.
