Thank you for an absolutely outstanding event!

Listen, you know tons of people in the aviation industry and I'm probably one of the extremely few people you might know in this business that actually has a University Degree in Recreation Management. After Uni I was poised to go work for a Club Med or a cruise ship company (and was actually offered a position at NCL upon completion of my degree) but life led me in another direction.

My point, the event you created was masterful! It was informative, it was memorable, it was fun and all the while being business focused too. To the average participant it might not be apparent all the steps required to succeed as you did in regards to this event from; organization, risk management, motivation, experiential activities, the psychological and sociological requirements to take into account to create the group dynamics that you were able to establish in a very brief time. It was like a real life example of Maslows Hierarchy, and the best part about it; few contemplated the fact they were a part of this Hierarchy - they just felt good, and safe, seen and comfortable and praised you for a fantastic event. YOU made them/us feel that way! That praise was well earned by both you and the committee involved.

I think you summarized it best when you told me, "I plan my events like I was planning it as my own wedding." That was a wonderful piece of insight and you succeeded far beyond my greatest expectations!

EALBF provides a good opportunity to network with other AOG professionals and meet peers from other airlines who might work with when sharing or borrowing parts during AOG, we look forward to the this new one 🇭🇰 1st AALBF - ASIA-PACIFIC AOG LOAN BORROW FORUM in Hong Kong, learning about practices on how other airlines work to fulfill their AOG requirements.

During the Break Out Sessions, we (SRF) were setting with Air Europa Airline team and we have received a call from our AOG team in Jeddah that we have an aircraft from our fleet is out of service and AOG in Barcelona and require JET ENGINE OIL P/N ASTO560. We spoke directly to Air Europa team and told them about this AOG live case. They have checked their stock immediately through their system and confirmed to us that they have the required material. We took the contact details of their AOG Desk and passed the info to our AOG team in Jeddah who managed to create the PO and sent it to Air Europa AOG and our forwarder picked up the material from Air Europa Airline successfully and moved it to our flight tech in Barcelona Airport.

I wished to take some time to thank you for the invitation for ILS to attend the EALBF, it really was a great event, I have also advised ILS senior management the quality of this event. I have attended many events over my 24 years longevity with ILS and this one for me was the most interesting and well-organized events (well other than the ILS video not playing during our allocated presentation time) that aside, congratulations on a No1 event. From the emails before , after, during and follow up, the social media exposure, the quality of attendees , the meetings, the evenings, your infectious positive attitude, I am grateful to have been a part of this.

Probably one of the most productive conferences/forums ever attended! The airline to vendor ratio is the key to the great success for this event along with an amazing organizational staff. The flow of the entire forum was very smooth with great interactions, discussions, and the AOG speed dating event being the most valuable part of the forum in my opinion. Not only you get to meet every attending customer, but you also get a chance to have ample time to discuss a few key topics that can help promote your company and provide immediate support for your VIP customers. Very fortunate to be a part of the event and certainly money well spent!

The forum is perfectly designed to combine the business part with the fun side, so that everyone can feel at ease when discussing such important issues as AOG for any airline.

These days create an atmosphere of full cooperation between airlines thanks to the 1 to 1 meeting and, in addition, it allows you to increase the relationship with suppliers you already work with and even open new horizons with suppliers perhaps unknown to your company. These meetings and the agenda topics not only allow you to expand your professional network, but also to easily share ideas for improvement and new practices.

After having been at this event, I consider it essential to get to know the supplier personally, as well as the colleagues from the other airlines who so often save us when we have an aircraft in an AOG situation, especially outside our base. Now that I have had the chance to meet all the attendees of this year, the relationships via email or telephone with them are completely different.

I would recommend attending the next EALBF to any airline or aeronautical supplier interested in making themselves known, increasing contact with them, and I would recommend the following EALBF to any airline or supplier in the aeronautical sector interested in making themselves known, increasing their contacts or simply improving their relationships.

My sincere congratulations to all the organisers of the event, I hope to be able to attend all the following editions.

This was the 1st time Unical had been invited to attend which was an excellent conference in Athens, Greece with all the airlines attending with significant exposure to all the AOG staff and material managers of 45 airlines who attended (which was an increase from 32 the year before in Warsaw, Poland.

Each vendor was able to provide a presentation for ALL attendee’s to not only give a company presentation but also any specific updates regarding the development of services provided.

Open sessions also organized an insight to the challenges of airlines in attendance to review and offer support where needed.

One to one sessions with ALL 45 airlines attending which was planned over the two working days which was extremely helpful to gain the introduction where needed to develop business based on the airlines specific demands and processes.

My first time at EALBF but hopefully not my last. A fantastic event, both in terms of productive professional discussions, but also incredibly fun social events. There is no other forum where together as an industry we can tackle topics impacting all of us in such a collaborative way. Thanks to EALBF, I have made connections, memories and friends across this amazing community of people’.

It was our first time at the EALBF and we are really looking forward to the next year already. Great forum, very well organized, with a chance of get to know and talk to airlines and vendors in 1:1 setup. We are all still facing disruptions in supply chains and increase of complexity for example in terms of customs and export control topics. We recently had the pleasure of attending EALBF in Warsaw, that was an invaluable experience. The event provided a fantastic platform for networking and connecting with a wide range of appropriate-level management, who represented airlines from around the globe.

The forum was well organised, with an atmosphere conducive to meaningful discussions and knowledge sharing. We had the opportunity to engage in insightful conversations with industry experts, gaining valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities within the aviation sector.

The event not only allowed us to expand our professional network but also provided a platform for exchanging ideas and best practices.

The Forum was really helpful to be in contact more efficiently with our colleagues and get feedbacks from them directly, i don’t even mention the fun part we had extremely beautiful three days together, when we were in 1 on 1 session as Turkish Technic we could solve two AOG situations of two different companies, if we didn’t meet and talk there, probably it would take more time to solve these issues, that’s why personally i am really grateful to you, thanks to all sponsors and all participants.

Fantastic conference last week representing Norse Atlantic Airways  in Warsaw for the EALBF - EUROPEAN AOG LOAN BORROW FORUM.

Finally meeting many contacts I’ve worked with over the years and creating new ones during the conference too. There are many positive take away from this trip for Norse.

A perfect example of this was the collective help and support provided for an AOG we had in CDG. Because of the relationships built during this conference both 787 operators and freight forwarders kindly assisted and avoided a flight cancellation with an exchange and OBC.

When we founded EALBF with our European colleagues, we had in mind to create a way to have L&B officers and managers to meet, openly talk and exchange on their daily businesses. I actually found much more in the process: learn new approaches on things I had taken for granted, create and entertain a valuable network of useful contacts and settle things with people I had never been in contact with except through mails and phone calls! Always keep in mind that constantly people change, organizations evolve, processes are revised, A/C fleets are renewed. You never meet counterparts often enough. Organized around open forum sessions mixed with bilateral talks, EALBF is the most efficient way to explain how you work, learn how other airlines do, open talks, solve issues, grow your network, improve your knowledge and simply be part of a community happy to gather and welcome new members.

I would say that it is a great way to make good contacts and meet people face to face, the one on one break out sessions are very beneficial. And they are always a lot of fun and well planned.

Air Canada has been very fortunate to be a part of the EALBF conference for the last 5 years. Over the span of two days, the conference not only provides insight into really complex AOG scenarios, but also provides the most up-to-date information to help resolve such scenarios – which could otherwise be impossible to resolve. Truly a great event that is very well organized.

I am happy to have taken part in the lasts 5 EALBF's conferences, as participant, hosting airline, and finally part of steering comitee at the end.That is what makes the EALBF a success for me is: a conference organized on a human scale where everybody have the opportunity to know everybody, creator of real relationship - the proposed format on 2 days, an efficient combinaison of group meetings for common topics, individual meetings during the rountables, visit of hosting airline facilities without forgetting night events proposed. - an airline's community of operationals who are facing the same difficulties without vendor pressure - the small fees, everething is paid by the sponsors, only the trip and hotel room are at your airline expenses. Every year, the number of attendees growing which is the best sign of appreciation/reconnaissance.

A well orchestrated get together of Airlines and Vendors that proves itself year on year. A highlight of the Aviation events calendar.

In this forum different airlines and suppliers are represented and topics around the AOG are introduced and discussed. It is possible to discuss open topics in 1:1 discussions with the other participants/companies, e.g. from the ordering process to the completion of this process. Beyond that the strength of the forum consists of maintaining direct contacts to other AOG Desk coworkers of other enterprises. These are SCA topics, i.e. single component availability. This means avoiding AOG cases through loans, exchanges or sales, unless contractually agreed otherwise.

The value of the EALBF, particularly for someone like me with only 3 years of aviation industry experience, is unsurpassed by any other conference I’ve attended. The opportunity to meet with my counterparts from other airlines and engage in a more intimate setting to discuss AOG strategies, is absolutely priceless. Additionally, EALBF truly promotes a feeling of family – fostering connections that go far deeper than simply an exchange of business cards. I left feeling that I had formed friendships and relationships that will be mutually beneficial for years to come. Within a couple days of returning home, I had multiple follow up calls scheduled as a direct result of the EALBF. I would encourage all invitees to attend, whether 3 years of industry experience like me, or 30 years in the industry, as this is an invaluable resource for all involved. I truly feel that EALBF is the preeminent gathering of AOG representatives in a relaxed and fun, yet extremely productive setting. Thanks to you and all of the sponsors for making this event happen!

I had the privilege to attend the 11th EALBF – European AOG LOAN BORROW FORUM, for the first time which was held in the beautiful city of Barcelona. I have attended many shows and conferences through out the years but The EALBF stands out, where you get to meet great people with great minds who are all working towards the same goal, to keep their aircraft flying. Having the opurtunity to sit down amongst people who are facing the same issues and problems that I am and to have an open discussion about solutions with professionals from more than 43 airlines and several suppliers is close to nothing I have experienced. The one to one meetings was humbling, and to get to expand your contact list like this is priceless. The lessons I take away with me from this will be very helpful to run the Materials and Logistics department at PLAY. I am already looking forward to attending the 12th EALBF in Warsaw next year.

The best logistics oriented event ever. The extension of your contacts network and increase of AOG solving knowledge has never been easier. Great atmosphere, perfect organization and nice people. Simply outstanding experience. We’ve had a chance to verify in practice, how powerful the new friendships are. To attendance of the EALBF should be mandatory for all clever logistics managers!

As we all met in the Hotel lobby on Day 1, and I could see how warmly everyone greeted eachother, I said to my colleague Simon, this feels like a club we have just joined, and we were made to feel very welcome by both the airlines and suppliers alike. I was particularly impressed by the way everyone got involved in the presentations and group discussions, and there was a wide range of topics discussed with some great expertise in the room. My expectation is that my new contacts (hopefully I can call them friends now!) will be a useful source of information and advice over the coming months until we all meet again at next years event In our industry, time is critical and the EALBF makes good use of every moment, whether that is supplier presentations, one-to-one sessions, or just general networking, a great event which I’d thoroughly recommend.

It has been a real pleasure to have attended this great event at Barcelona! We have made many contacts, and we have meet others with whom we speak weekly personally. We have shared our experience and we have got new tools to face the daily barriers of the profession. I congratulate you for this good work as hosts.

I’ve been attending airline conferences for over 8 years. I must note that the EALBF (European AOG Loan Borrow Forum) has raised the bar and established a new standard. With over 43 airlines and over a dozen vendors represented, this event served as the perfect networking platform. Agenda included: identifying common logistical obstacles, best material movement practices, effective sourcing strategies, and, finally, putting faces to peer/colleague names. One particular highlight—a flamenco performance never to be forgotten!! Great job, Aviation Concepts!! I’m already excited about next year’s event in Warsaw, Poland.
